Christmas Gift Ideas for Teenagers in 2021

How easy do you think it is to buy Christmas gifts for kids?

Do you really need to rack your brains for coming up with Christmas gift ideas for small kids?

Well No. It’s fairly easy to buy Christmas gifts for younger kids even if you try going to different Christmas markets.

But what about teens? Can you come up with Christmas gift ideas for teenagers just as easily as that for younger kids????

Well, not easy this time.

I am a mom of a toddler & a teen. So I know how difficult it can be to think about Christmas gift ideas for teens these days.

TBH, it is not that there are very less options. It is just that which option is right for your teen? Their changing moods & likes can make it very difficult to choose the best Christmas gift for them & also to find the right deal.

These options could be electronics, entertainment, comfort, or just experiences.

1. Bluetooth Beanie Hat

The Bluetooth Beanie is one of the most advanced technologies of today combining both the functionality of the headphones and the fashion statement of the movie. It can not only keep you warm in winter but also brings you handsfree bluetooth music enjoyment and phone call. A Unique Christmas gift idea in Tech gifts for teenagers who love to keep abreast new tech.

2. Articulate

Eventhough somewhat a traditional idea, Articulate is definitely one game which keeps the whole family on their toes. Everyone enjoys this game & helps in a great bond between the family members. Especially true for today’s teens who don’t like to sit in one place for long time (unless ofcourse they are on their gaming consoles ????????)

Also, in these times of pandemic where most of us have been in long periods of lockdown this game helps get the boredom out of our lives.

3. Sienna Hoodie Blanket

What to do you do to snuggle up on the chilly winter Christmas night? Yup, you got it.

Sienna Sherpa Hooded Blanket is your new comfort buddy! Featuring a beautiful soft-touch outer fabric and luxurious Sherpa lining this hoodie is perfect for those cosy nights in! The one size fits all hooded blanket comes in an array of versatile colors making it the perfect gift for any member of the family & especially your teenager if you want them inside the house on Christmas night snuggling up watching a Christmas film with family ????????

4. Vans Unisex Old Skool Backpack Luggage

My son, who is a teenager, uses his backpack for his school, school trips, family travel as carry-on-baggage & also when he goes with his friends to the cinema! So a Vans backpack can be a good Christmas gift for any teenager. They are good quality backpacks & are reasonably priced.

5. Amazon gift card

If none of the other Christmas gift ideas work, rest assured this one will. An Amazon Gift Card is something that will give your teenager the freedom to buy something of their own choice. It will also save you the hassle of racking your brains on different Christmas gift ideas. Win-win for both.

6. Budget Phone

These days almost every teen carries a phone with them to school. Obviously, it is not possible for everyone to give Iphones & Google Pixel or other high-end phones. Also, since they are still in school, it is more advisable to give them a budget-friendly phone.

And when you say budget-friendly phone only one phone comes to my mind which has features similar to expensive phones but is much cheaper than them. I would recommend this phone by Motorola to anyone who wants to buy a phone on a budget.

Well, now you see how difficult it is to buy a Christmas gift for a teen in 2021.

7. Special Adventurous Experiences

By – Ingrid Norris from Christmas Time Made Easy

I have three teens and love giving them special adventurous experiences such as sky diving, hot air ballooning, rock climbing, canyoning, and sea kayaking as Christmas gifts and birthday gifts. Not only do these adventures give teens an amazing buzz of excitement while doing the activity itself but it also creates amazing memories they can draw on later when teen life or school life might become challenging. These adventurous experience activity memories can remind them that if they could do canyoning if they could climb to the top of the cliff and if they could jump out of a plane to skydive then they can cope and overcome their current challenge too.

8. Smart Watch

By – Pranali Patel from Empirical Mama

Teenagers are really into technology. And something that they can link to the app and use is fun for them. My teen is too much into fitness and when I gifted him a smartwatch, he proudly shows the steps he walked for the day and burned the calories to me every night.

9. Mini Fridge

By – Krissy Hadick from The Hadicks

Teenagers love feeling independent and achieving autonomy is an essential part of the transition into adulthood. Gifts that help facilitate independence are great choices for this holiday season. A mini-fridge will allow your kids/teens to keep snacks and drinks in their room for easy access. It’s also a great way for your child to keep any special treats away from siblings that they don’t want to share.

10. Weighted Blanket

By Sophie Marie from Sustainably Lazy

A weighted blanket can help with anxiety and it is really useful. It also helps in sleeping well. They can be used for children as young as 3 for anxiety and relaxation. Just have to get the weight right.

11.One on One Trip

By Greg Halter from Year of the Dad

My gift idea for teenage sons & daughters is a one on one trip. Let them pick a location and go on a road trip with just them. This is a really special gift if you have multiple kids as you get to spend quality time with them and all teenagers crave that connection.

12. Vision Board Kits

By Cloe from Cloe -N – Family

Create, Manifest, Restore …

I think that Vision Board Kits will help teens to see what they made in the future years to come or in a time capsule. Vision Board Kits will give a better understanding of what they might expect or want out of life. And they can hold on to these kits to see if anything they manifested came true!

13. Headphones

By Keri-Jane from Tween Parent

Whether it’s completing their homework or in-depth online gaming, a good set of headphones is a great gift idea for a teenager. Help then tune out the noise around them with a noise-canceling feature and look for those with Bluetooth wireless and a built-in mic to get the most value.

So was that choosing a Christmas gift for a teenager as easy as making Ginger Bread for Christmas?
